When we transitioned to being an independent company in 2021, we created a naming strategy and enlisted the help of our employees to create a name that would meet our objectives.
There were hundreds of submissions, each with great
appeal and
meaning, but the one that rose to the top came from a Bakery Supervisor in Brantford, Canada, Alex Gillis.
Alex wrote, "As we aspire to be the best bakery in North America, what better name than Aspire to represent
our desire
to not only achieve our goals but exceed them. We aspire for greatness, and we will attain this with
Integrity,
Ownership, Customer Focus, Creativity and Care."
Our name truly reflects our values and our goals – we strive to be the best in baking and continually
aspire to
improve and grow. And Aspire Bakeries is the name to motivate us all – the
possibilities
are endless!
